The U11As played a very promising game against a side who were already tired from one match. They took the opportunity to try to practise their passing which got better and better as the game went on. They also developed their workrate in defence trying to ensure that they were moving forwards and backwards as one team. Alfie showed a fantastic energy in the match and tried hard to maintain space on the pitch by staying wide. Arthur and Jesse showed some lovely passing range and ability and I was impressed by their use of space. Bailey, on the other wing, showed an eye for the try line with 4 in the match.

Thanks to Raff and Luke for playing a half each for the shorthanded opposition where they played extremely well with unfamiliar players. A very promising performance to build on for the rest of the season.
