Today we played a very strong Brighton side in an U16 friendly. The first quarter was very close and Amy's shooting was on point. We needed to drive into the spaces and use a change of direction to loose our defenders as the marking from Brighton was very tight - this was a focus in the next quarter. We started making some better movements off the ball and managed to keep the scoreline close in the second quarter. The accuracy of the Brighton shooter was very good and Brighton began to take a good lead in the third end. Unfortunately, we were unable to make up the goals in the last quarter, but showed good team spirit and commitment throughout - well done.
