Match Report
Farlington School Boys-U11A vs  St Edmund's School
On: Wednesday, 05 Feb 2025
Venue: Away

The team responded brilliantly to the different requirements of touch rugby after their success in last week's tag rugby tournament. All of the boys showed a great dedication to running support lines, reacting to tackles to get the ball away quickly from scrum half and using the width of the pitch. The catching and passing was also very impressive as the ball was moved across the line extremely positively. Decision making in terms of when to pass and the correct pass to make were the main takeaways for next week's coaching session.

The work rate in defence was amazing as all of the team ran their socks off to get back into position once a tackle had been made, and the players made a number of key interceptions which led to run in tries. Jesse made a number of these which secured him player of the match.

I am so impressed by the improvement that has been made individually and as a team by the U11As this season and it is a testament to their hard work in Games sessions, an excellent attitude and fantastic teamwork. Well done boys.
