A fixture where the score line didn't reflect the performance. Great Ballard got off to fast start scoring within the first minute however Farlington nearly hit back with Alex shooting just wide. The game was mainly contested in midfield but some excellent work down the flank by Alex allowed Farlington to find the back of the net going in one goal down at half time.

The team scored quickly to begin the second half and were inspired by their play however they were unable to finish the number of chances that they created. As the game wore on and the boys tired there started to become holes in defence that Great Ballard capitalised on. A special mention to Enoch who was named Man of the Match by the opposition and did an excellent job for the team in the middle of defence.
