Match Report
Farlington School Boys-U15A vs  Box Hill School
On: Tuesday, 26 Nov 2024
Venue: Away

A much changed 11 but an opportunity for some new players to make their mark on a more senior team. A positive start was made, early pressure on the ball and some good combination play gave a boost to the players. An unfortunate error high up the pitch lead to a counter attack and the first goal for Boxhill which quickly followed a second. The Farlington heads did not drop and they still combined well in the middle with Ollie, Ollie, Oscar and Ben playing some good 1-2s and through balls which were good opportunities. Half time came and this was the chance to regroup and tweak a few parts of the game. An excellent performance in the second half, with everybody supporting one another in and out of possession. Shane, Sam and Jackson put in some great challenges while Rayan and Ben provided an outlet for the defence. A chance was finally put away, when Eisa was played through and smashed the ball into the back of the net with his left foot. A really positive performance from everybody and a big building platform for future games.
