Match Report
Farlington School Boys-U16A vs  Duke of Kent School
On: Tuesday, 10 Sep 2024
Venue: at Home

A change to the fixture, meant playing 2 7-aside games. The first game took the team time to get used to the pace of the game, but in the second half there were some real improvements. Loic, Oscar, Ben and George combined well to create a couple of chances, which were well saved. Shane and Will started to gain more confidence in defence, playing some nice passes into midfield and stayed strong to win challenges and keep the attempts at goal to a minimum in the second half. Augustine in goal was awesome in both games, making really strong saves and being brave to close down the space for attackers to shoot.

The second game was much closer, and Farlington were unlucky to not score in the game. Andrew work rate upfront was incredible and he found half a yard to get some shots away, with their keeper again making some big saves. Sam and Alvis were brilliant in defence, closing down space, winning tackles and making vital interceptions. This game Dexter and Raff more time in the midfield to create for Andrew. A challenging first fixture for the team, but postives to build upon moving forward.
