A brilliant game but a tough result to end the football season against a very strong and well organised Longacre team. The opposition made a faster start, capitalising on a mix up in defence to score early. 1 quickly became 2 but this managed to wake the team up. Farlington grew into the game and started passing and moving and supporting each other on the ball better. This pressure was telling and the first real chance was created, started off from a nice switch of play by Alec before AJ burst down the line and put a dangerous ball into the box. The teams were evenly matched from here, but a loose pass was pounced upon and the team found themselves 3-0 down. The heads did not drop as they continued to play football. The closest they came to a goal was Raff hitting the bar at the end of the half. The second half was an evenly matched game with both teams pushing to try and score. Thomas made some good saves while Bailey had a few half chances to score. All in all a competitive game.
