The U15A squad kicked off their season with a spirited game against a strong Shoreham College team. As it was the first match of the season, Farlington took some time to find their rhythm, but the team showed impressive potential and determination. We saw skillful drives and clever positioning from Flora, Amy and Honor. Their relentless effort created several opportunities, keeping Shoreham’s defense on their toes. Grace and Josie were a force in defense, making crucial interceptions to disrupt Shoreham's play. Mog and Olivia worked hard to transition the ball into the D, linking up well with the shooters and driving the ball forward with determination.
Girl of the Game: Honour, for her overall contribution and exceptional attacking play.
Player’s Player: Flora, acknowledged by her teammates for her outstanding effort and skill.
Focus Areas for Next Game: Refine the tactics around attacking and defending centre passes.
An encouraging start to the season, with plenty of positives to build on! Well done, U15A!
