An excellent performance from the U11B boys' football team. The team showed fantastic teamwork, great workrate and an ability to adapt to different positions.

Luke and Jesse both performed solidly in goal, and distributed the ball positively from the back. Lawson was a rock in defence and also ignited attacks with his quick passing. Alfie on the left blended attach and defence really well, and while marking and making tackles, also provided width and vision on the ball. Pavel was strong in the middle and made some insightful passes. Bertie and Thomas provided great width with determined runs and great crosses into the middle. Jesse when playing in attack was heavily involved in the game and kept their defence extremely busy.

Well done today team! A confident performance and positive result. The team looked best when making quick simple passes to players in good positions. We were not quite as effective when trying to run through defenders. Keep focussed on that positive play.
