A solid performance with for the A team this week with the scoreline not reflecting the amount of pressure the team put on the opposition. Thomas was typically solid in goal and provided some strong distribution from the back. Alec and Arthur defended stoutly and kept their concentration well, and added to the attack when we had the ball. Fin showed great workrate on the left, tracking back excellently and also showed vision and composure ont he ball to release teammates. A great performance from him today. AJ on the right was constantly involved in the game and kept their defenders very busy. Bailey made some great runs up front and on another day would definitely have scored more. Raff commanded the game in midfield and was difficult to get past, and more impressively showed great vision for his passes. He also made some great runs upfield to support the attack and shoot.

I am sure the boys will know they need to try to hit the target ore when shooting and just work on keeping their composure when near the opposition goal.

The proudest moment of the afternoon was when an opposition parent made an effort to come over and commend the team for their politeness, camaraderie and positive support for each other. The highlight of the afternoon for us. Well done boys!
